    Global business logistics is the strategic planning of all activities involved in sourcing, procurement, conversion, marketing, distribution, and channel handling in the context of supply chain competition. Importantly, it also includes coordination and collaboration with channel partners, which can be suppliers, intermediaries, third-party service providers, and customers. In essence, global business logistics is a branch of strategic logistics, it integrates supply conditions and demand requirements within and across companies and/or business groups.
